About Phil Saltman L.Ac.
Maryland State Licensed Acupuncturist U01350
Diplomate NCCAOM

My patients' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.

I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.

I enjoy working with and listening to my patients and helping them understand how Chinese Medicine can help them improve their health.
Many people ask me how I became an acupuncturist.  It all started over 30 years ago when I started learning and practicing Tai Chi in Boston, Mass.  Tai Chi is just one of the wonderful health disciplines the Chinese have developed.  After being involved with Tai Chi I became acquainted with Acupuncture, Chinese herbs and Asian nutritional therapies.  After first trying acupuncture to treat a back injury from an accident in 1988 I became a confirmed believer in this modality.  In less than 25 years acupuncture has become a mainstream treatment for so many ailments and health problems.  In addition to my Owings Mills practice 3 years ago I became the first acupuncturist at Goucher College in Maryland.  I enjoy introducing acupuncture to the students and helping them acclimate to college life.  I have treated people from 2 years old to 90.
